The Trade Space Visualizer is a stand-alone Java-based data visualization program designed to help users explore multi-dimensional data sets to discover relationships between features. It was developed by a team at the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State, supported by both governement and commerical funding sources. Core visualization capabiltites have been nonexclusively licensed to Phoenix Integration to support their VisualizationPak, which is included in their ModelCenter software. We have extended our core visualization capabilties to include visual steering methods, which allow users to leverage data visualization plots as a tool to drive underlying simulation models to regions of interest.
As of early 2010, the Applied Research Laboratory and Penn State have supported the ability to allow anyone to freely download the software. ARL/Penn State will always be interested in collaborating with customers to modify or develop new capabilities within the interface. See the Contact Page if interested.
